HBM's torque sensors/converters are adopted as reference instruments by national metrology institutes in various countries, including Germany's PTB, the United States' NIST, and Japan's NMIJ.
The T22 is a torque transducer equipped with fully developed electronics, allowing for easy construction of testing devices and immediate measurement initiation. An external amplifier is unnecessary unless upgrading the measurement chain. It measures torque using strain gauge technology, with measurement signals transmitted via non-contact transmission. The accuracy class is 0.5, and the rated torque ranges from 5 N·m to 1 kN·m. Its compact design ensures a secure fit even in limited installation spaces. It is ideal for dynamic and static torque measurements in research and development, testing and measurement, production, and process management.
The bearing is integrated and can be mounted as a support bearing.
The T20WN is a torque transducer ideal for quality assurance, manufacturing management, testing and auditing, and measuring static and dynamic torque, rotational speed, and rotational angle in testing laboratories. Since the bearings are integrated, it can be mounted as a support bearing, making it easy to handle. Additionally, it features an electronic circuit with a ±10V output signal, reducing the cost of the measurement chain. The included VK20A junction box facilitates easy connections, enhances operational safety, and integrates the measurement axis into the entire HBM measurement chain. Compatible bellows couplings are also available as an optional accessory.
Because slip rings are not required, high-precision and stable measurements can be achieved over a wide range.
The TCF is designed for torque detection within 1 to 3 rotations (without the cable getting tangled) with stationary or slow rotation, rather than continuous rotation. It is low-cost due to the absence of slip rings, allowing for high precision and stable measurements across a wide range from low to high torque. It can accommodate not only double-sided flanges but also keyway round shafts and custom machining as specified.
